trays or tubes for equilibrating 24 cm strips?
« on: November 01, 2013, 09:06:09 AM »
We just started using 24 cm strips recently and I'm wondering what people equilibrate them in?  For 13's I use regular glass test tubes with rubber stoppers, but 24's are way too long.  I have used these clear plastic covers for the GE 24 cm cup loading strip holders (like long thin shallow trays), but I only have three of them so I can't equilibrate a full DALT6 of strips at once.

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi,

I used the equilibration tubes GE provides (cat no. 80-6467-79) for 24cm strips, as couldnt really get hold of any tray/holder of that size already there in my lab!
